An Untamed Land - European Travelog #3

On my first visit to Rome, I must say that I’m not very impressed. For instance, in the center of the town,  they have this massive unfinished convention center, which they oddly call a colloseum. To think, they even charge people to visit the construction site!

Rome is a very dirty city, and the people have probably the worst French accent that I’ve ever heard. And while my evangelizing continues, it’s an uphill battle.

I was able to find a small Christian mission here, however. Unfortunately, they’re forced to contain themselves inside the mission’s own walls, calling the enclave “The Vatican.” I couldn’t find the meaning of it in my French dictionary, though. But they do seemed very committed.

I’m currently just trying to blend in on the streets here. So if you need me, I’m the tall Nigerian selling fake purses on a white bedsheet, just outside of the Roman Forum.
