An Untamed Land - European Travelog 2
My dear friends, fear not. I am alive and well. The untamed wilderness of Western Europe has failed to ruin my Southern charm or pride.
Unfortunately, there have been setbacks. As soon as I learned the native beast tongue of the Europeans in Paris, and began to spread the Great Word, I moved on to Barcelona, Spain. You wouldn’t believe this, but the Spanish speak an entirely different language!
All is not lost. I still have my Southern charm and pride. My one question about this whole language debacle - didn’t the Americans win WW2? And still they don’t speak our mother-tongue? I tell them all, there’s a reason why the Bible is printed in English, it’s not just a coincidence. They, I hope, will learn in time.
As for now, I continue on the righteous path of evangelizing Western Europe. Until we speak again.
